Waste Heat Recovery Opportunities
Some NGT&S compressor stations may offer opportunities for electric power generation from turbine compressor waste heat. This can promote energy efficiency and reduce green house gas emissions by using existing power sources for power generation without burning additional fuels.
In conjunction with the Interstate Natural Gas Pipeline Association of America, the NiSource Gas Transmission & Storage companies are posting a list of its compressor stations where waste heat recovery may be economically feasible.

NGT&S will consider working in partnership with third-party developers interested in compressor heat recovery for power generation. For more information, contact Tom Lumadue at 304 357-3324 or visit the INGAA web site.
